    I got an email that made me think.  Do I need to change how I do Marketing Made Simple TV? That made me wonder what our viewers think.

    The note came from a dear friend, Adele Revella of the Buyer Persona Institute, who watched the Jay Baer show and wrote:

    “I love you, Jeff, and I love Jay Baer, but I also want to share my personal opinion that the interview would have been more useful if you’d not asked Jay to introduce himself after you just delivered an introduction of him. It was almost 4 minutes into the interview before he got to answer a question, and by 7 or 8 minutes in he was talking about some great stuff. The problem is that I don’t have that much time, so by 11 minutes I had to stop listening.

    I don’t often have time to listen to these so if you do indeed ask that first question of all of your guests, then from my perspective you don’t need to do the introduction. Or don’t ask the question, but one or the other as this makes the intro too long and I think I’m like a lot of people. I’m busy and I want to get to the useful part quickly.”
